Pretzel Buns

    Serves: 12 Rolls             Cook Time: 12 minutes

Directions
Ingredients
  1. Using a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook, mix together warm water and yeast
  2. Add brown sugar, salt, and flour
  3. Knead on medium speed until dough is smooth and pulls away from sides (4-5 minutes)
  4. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes
  5. Divide dough into 12 even pieces and form 3-1/2 in round buns
  6. Mix together hot water and baking soda
  7. Dip entire roll into soda mixture
  8. After dipping slash the top 1/8 inch deep
  9. Lay on parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with Pretzel salt
  10. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes, brush tops with melted buter and serve immediately
